Not every rendering project is the top level Hollywood CGI / beauty shot type of project. Some projects are design / layout / schematic oriented. It doesn't make them any less important and it doesn't take away any sense of accomplishment when you finally see the finished project.  This was one such project.

More than two years ago, I was contacted by a group of Marines planning to construct a memorial at Marine Corp Base Quantico. It was going to include a sculpture of a Marine doing a chin-up, alongside more chin-up bars so current Marines could do a chin up with the previous generations. Very cool idea.
 

Over the years, we have gone through a dozen or so different studies of materials, layout, sizes, etc. My participation was truly very minimal. It was neat to be part of a project that was so personal to so many people involved. They did a great job.
 

The monument was dedicated October 24th, 2024.
